Winnie Yip recently joined us at Messrs. Calvin Khoo as our second Legal Associate after she was called to the Malaysian Bar in December 2020. She read law at the University of Leeds and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2017. She then completed her Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) as well as Masters of Laws (LLM) from  BPP University and was subsequently called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in July 2019.

 

During her pupillage in Messrs. Dennis Nik & Wong, she had the opportunity to be under the tutelage of Datuk Wong Rhen Yen who is well-known in the practice area of corporate and commercial litigation, as well as the law of insolvency – which sparks her interest in that area of law.
